Thanksgiving in Paris

Just wanted to share a few pics from our Thanksgiving in Paris! We were planning on a modest Thanksgiving at our place, but at the last minute we were invited to a friend’s apartment for a real Thanksgiving Day feast!

James and I had already purchased super over-priced Stove-top stuffing and canned pumpkin from the Thanksgiving store here in Paris, so that and some beer were our contributions for the night.

Since we don’t have an oven, I was planning on making a microwave pumpkin-cake-in-a-mug recipe I found online. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t recommend it. Something just seems to be missing…cinnamon? nutmeg? brown sugar? It just needed something else. Plus trying to convert everything to grams didn’t make it any easier. Everything else we had was amazing and delicious though! James and I caught the last metro home completely stuffed!
