Marché aux Puces

The flea markets at the Porte de Clingancourt in Paris are super famous. I’ve been a few times, but I’ve never managed to buy anything. One time, James and I found this scary/fun/amazing stuffed badger we named Edgware. We were even able to find him again this time, but he’s still out of our price range. (We’ll get you someday, Edgware!)

I love looking around though! Last weekend we wandered around for a bit and fantasized about our fancy Parisian apartment.

(not for sale, but what a cool lamp!)

Practical info: I should mention that you just take line 4 to its northern terminus and walk towards the KFC (yes, KFC) and keep going straight (you’ll cross blvd Ney). Once you see people selling fake stuff, you’ll know you’re going in the right direction. The people selling junky stuff (cheap clothes, sunglasses, purses, etc) under tents are not part of the Marché aux Puces. Keep going and you’ll find an entrance into a walled market. This is where you’ll find the good stuff!

On a personal note, my internship and carte de séjour renewal process went swimmingly! I’ll be staying in Paris until mid-August!
