La grande roue de Paris

During the summer and around Christmastime they put up a ferris wheel in the Tulieries garden (sometimes closer to the Place de la Concorde), and James and I decided to take it for a spin!

I’m basically a wuss when it comes to anything remotely high or dangerous, but it was a lot of fun! The views were amazing (even though the Eiffel Tower looks teeny in our pic below) and since we went one evening during the week, we hardly had to wait at all. The weather hasn’t been great this summer, mostly cool and rainy, but the night we went out was quite nice. Still cardigan weather though! 🙂

There’s also a little carnival going on around it, in case you have a crepe or sausage craving.
